Applicable Ages:
Infants through fifth grade
(Nursery – 23 months)
In our nursery, we provide a safe loving environment to these precious little children.
They receive tender, loving care, while you focus on worshiping the Lord.
Your infant will have a great time playing and interacting with other children and listening
to worship songs.
(2 yrs – 3 yrs old)
East River Fellowship believes that no child is ever too young to learn about God.
Toddlers discover their world through play and they use their senses to input information,
so they must look at, touch and smell, hear, or taste. We provide these opportunities for
your toddler to participate in learning about Bible stories in a fun and playful ways.
4yrs – Kindergarten
We know that your young children have unique needs. Their understanding of the world is limited.
And their most effective method of learning is through play! Our curriculum “My Great Big God”
is designed just for this age-appropriate, where your child will have a chance to actively explore
Bible truths in a fun way! Such as; Noncompetitive active games, Art projects, science activities,
singing, and praying.
1st – 3rd Grade
We want your child to recognize East River as a place where people really love and care for them...
a place where they can learn more about Jesus...a place where they can make friends, sing, play and
have a ton of fun in a variety of kid focused activities. All curriculum, activities and equipment are
designed to meet the unique needs of this age level.
4th – 5th Grade
By this age, kids think they’ve heard all the Bible stories - not in our class! We will challenge
their decision-making skills with inter-related Biblical principles. We will also teach them practical
lessons that relate exactly to where they are as a pre-teens in today's mixed up world.
Check-in Procedures:
Nursery – parents will receive an identification tag with a number at the time of check-in that
coordinates with the child.
2yrs – 3rd Grade Parents, Please Check-in your child fifteen minutes prior to the start of the service
at their appropriate classroom.
4th – 5th Grade – They sign themselves in at their classroom.
Sunday Service: All children are signed in by the parents at the foyer.
Health Issues:
If your child has any allergies, medications, or any other situations that we should know about,
please contact the children's Directors with the appropriate information.
Uneasy Children:
If your child feels uncomfortable or shy in joining the lesson time, you as a parent are most
welcome to join us in our children’s church. We encourage you to get involved in your child’s life at our church.
