Men's Ministry
 Proverbs says, "As iron
sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Men, look for monthly breakfasts,
accountability relationships, and our bi-monthly get togethers. Whether it’s
catching the Portland Beavers, miniature golf, Hood to Coast, or a service
project, guys need to be around other like-minded “hombres”! Check the calendar
to see what's coming up. <more>
Women's Ministry
 Our women are also
committed to growing in wisdom in the Lord. Through miscellaneous
get-togethers, retreats, and activities we hold each other accountable and
encourage one another on toward a closer walk with the Lord. Watch the calendar
for upcoming events. <more>

Ministries
Marriage Ministry
Healthy marriages are a vital key to healthy families and a healthy, growing church body. So we offer ongoing groups for married couples to provide them with the tools and encouragement they need to nurture a marriage that honors the Lord and strengthens their family.
We provide in-home small groups for regular training, accountability and fellowship with other married couples.
The Marriage Ministry is overseen by Tom and Karen Eubanks.
Children's Ministry
East River Fellowship church is committed to kids!
At East River, we place a high value in helping each child see God as a real part
of their lives. We realize that kids can make a difference in the world right now.
We encourage them to enter into a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
We know that children need and want to be challenged. Each child is given the opportunity
to dive deep into God's Word through bible base teaching with caring volunteer leaders
who encourage each child to apply the lessons what is being taught. We strive to
provide a safe and fun atmosphere where children feel loved and accepted and cannot
wait to return each week!
Please read our Children’s Ministries page for more information.

Children’s Ministries Interim Directors.
Youth Ministry
We have ministries for junior-high and senior-high students.
Our Sr. High ministry is led by Jarrett Flores and our Jr. High ministry is overseen by
Mike and Heather Smith. Together, they form a strong team to see our
youth impacted for Christ and lives changed.
Our youth group format allows your youth to hang out together, play
games, worship, study the Word together and more. Talk to one of the youth
leaders to find out more of what is available at East River for your
teen.
Worship Ministry
The worship team at East River Fellowship consists of gifted
singers and instrumentalists who aspire to follow the leading of the Holy
Spirit in facilitating our congregation's expression of love, worship, and
praise of the Lord Jesus Christ. In psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, they
“sing a new song” of God’s wonderful deeds… mighty victories… power, and
holiness.
The team blends contemporary praise choruses, along with
modern original arrangements, into a pleasing fragrance of worship to our
Heavenly Father. Our worship director, Steve Sporre leads the team to strive for the best —
both in their walk with the Lord ( John
4:23,24) and with their talent ( Psalm
33:3 ). Check out some original worship music
that has sprung forth from East River Fellowship.
G.I.F.T. Mission
G.I.F.T. -- or Girls (and Guys) in Fellowship Together
-- meets offsite every other Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. The purpose is to make
quilts and clothing to donate to newborns and infants in need through
Birthright services.
It's also a great time of fellowship! No experience required.
If you have ever wanted to learn how to quilt and could use the fellowship and
warm feeling of helping an excellent cause then this is the place for you! This
group is led by Sandy Stockwell (a seamstress by trade) who is available every
class to help you learn any or all the techniques necessary.
Contact Sandy at (503) 642-3290 or (503) 679-6225 to find out
about the next scheduled meeting.
