Kendall and Elaine have been actively involved in church ministry for over twenty years.  Their shared passion is seeing people’s lives restored to wholeness. They have served together in marriage ministry, marriage counseling, recovery ministry, intercessory prayer team, hospital visitations, children’s ministry and drama ministry.Kendall is currently an elder at East River Fellowship and has served in an eldership capacity for  fifteen plus years. Kendall’s education in music, Celebrate Recovery, and Deaf Education have facilitated two other long-term passions and areas of service: deaf ministry and leading praise and worship.
           
Elaine is an associate pastor at East River Fellowship and President of Shekinah Bible College. She has served in ministry leadership positions for almost 20 years and has been ordained since 2001. Her previous para-church ministry includes work with Aglow International, Christian Solidarity (for the persecuted church), Jail Chaplaincy, and Pregnancy Resources Centers. Her education includes a B.A. in Ministerial Studies, (minor in biblical counseling), Master of Divinity, and currently in progress is an M.A. in Spiritual Formation. Elaine feels delighted and blessed to be fulfilling her ministry calling (and passion) for teaching and pastoral counseling at East River Fellowship.
