Logan and Heather Bennett [email] -- College-Career "Apostello"

Logan and Heather have been involved in college age ministry for nearly three years. They felt a calling to work with young adults while attending Our Place Christian Church in Hillsboro and moved on to be discipled by Pastor Carlos and his wife Pam Flores at East River. Here they started the college group of East River Fellowship: "Apostello".

Much like a superhero, Logan changes from a mild mannered accountant and student by day, to a passionate minister to young adults by night (and a rather impressive snowboarder too)! Heather was at East River at its founding and after the time away, when she met her husband, returned home. She is a student at Portland State University in Art History and has a passion for college as well as college ministry. Logan and Heather have a heart to see their generation take up the Lord's call and his cross to move in their community and culture for Christ, making disciples of all nations and generations in outreach, service, and compassion. Young adults face many life choices concerning beliefs and their spiritual identity and they feel that it is their ministry to learn and to teach college students to pour into on another and reach out in their communities.

Jarrett Flores [email]-- Sr. High Youth Director "Uprising"

Jarrett and YvetteJarrett became East River Fellowship’s high school leader in September 2009.  This was a role that God has been grooming him for since the very beginning of ERF when Jarrett was the 16 year-old, rambunctious son of our very own Pastor Flores. He has been married to his beautiful wife Yvette for over 3 years now, with whom he has recently welcomed a daughter, Emma. Jarrett is driven by the call to share his faith, and even the mistakes of his youth, with a new generation, to see them learn at a young age how to have a thriving and abundant relationship with their God while staring down the pressures of the world.

Fun facts: Jarrett’s favorite superhero is Wolverine, with Jack-Jack from the Incredibles coming in a close second, and if you ever want to take him out to coffee he’ll take a black-and-white mocha.

Mike and Heather Smith [email] -- Jr. High "The Middle"
Mike and Heather joined the youth staff in 2005 to lead our junior high youth.
